Rice paper, sumi ink, poplar box
Rice paper is dipped into sumi ink and quickly retracted, in a gesture similar to casting a net into the ocean and immediately pulling it out. The same motion is repeated until paper runs out. This piece also reflects on a sense of dislocation as a result of the environmental and ecological changes that have happened on the coast.
